OUR BEGINNIGS - Moose Jaw
The passion for mini-bikes has been part of who we are for years. It's a small, vibrant, tight-knit community — but like any niche product, it comes with its challenges: plenty of mini-bikes stored away across the country, their registrations lost to time. Beautiful bikes unable to reclaim their freedom because of administrative details that sometimes seem insurmountable — Formule 148, SAAQ, registration histories — these are the 12 labors of Asterix. In 2023, while on assignment out west, our founder acquired a 1947 Frazer Manhattan at a farm auction in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan — you guessed it — with no papers. Determined not to leave it trapped the way his mini-bikes were, he set out to find a solution.
ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER
It's with the gleaming Frazer that the pattern took shape. Once it was registered, plated, and on the road, why not do the same with a beloved, fully restored Z50 that also had no registration? The solution proving successful, we began sharing it with those close to us. They in turn referred their friends, and word got around. What started as a passion for these vehicles was shared with the community, driven by the desire to see people finally enjoy their machines in full freedom and compliance.Since then, we've accompanied our clients through countless journeys. Helping a son put back on the road the vehicle he'd built with his late father, years earlier. Bringing into compliance the vehicle of an enthusiast trapped in an interjurisdictional administrative limbo. Giving a family back the only keepsake of a loved one — a motorcycle they thought could never be brought into compliance. It's an honor to have accompanied more than 150 clients through their projects, and the ultimate joy to see them back on the road with a vehicle they once thought was condemned.

Some of our completed files — each plate corresponds to a registered, compliant vehicle.

How Does It Work?
The process is fairly simple if you legally own a vehicle that lacks registration. The very first step, and not the least, is to check the vehicle's serial number in the RCMP database.WARNING: PL8IT IS NOT A VEHICLE TITLE-LAUNDERING BUSINESS. WE FULLY COOPERATE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND WILL REPORT ANY ATTEMPT TO REGISTER A STOLEN VEHICLE THROUGH OUR SERVICES.It is therefore your responsibility to confirm your vehicle's status by entering the serial number in the database below:
We strongly recommend performing all necessary and additional checks on your vehicle, such as rebuilt/salvage status, mileage discrepancies, liens, etc.Once everything is complete, head to the "Quote Request" section and submit your request, taking care to fill out each section carefully. We'll send you back a quote, which you're then free to accept. If you accept the quote, we'll send you a document to sign.Your vehicle will then be temporarily registered under our company's name — a standard step in the process — before being transferred fully into yours once you complete the licensing office visit. You'll then receive the registration documents in the manner you elected in the quote. Then visit your local licensing office to complete the transfer of ownership. Additional documents may be required, such as a market value appraisal or a mechanical inspection....and that's it!
